“Dot Monoco” 16 x 16 font for use on the “Wrobot 16*16 Dot Matrix LED Shield” for Arduino



The code for all of these letters can be downloaded here. The code for each letter can be cut and pasted into the demo code provided by Emartee for use with the Wrobot 16*16 Dot Matrix LED Shield. The scrolling seems to look better if the “define speed” parameter is slowed down to 4.

If you are interested in converting your own 16X16 pixel images onto the LED display, remember that each shield requires 32 hex codes to program it (the first two codes program the top line, the next two the second line, etc). I have uploaded a hex to binary conversion spreadsheet here with how each eight LED sequence should be written.
